How many years have you been in business in NYC?
Since July, 2016.
How did you get your start and what was your initial inspiration?
We built our business around our love for food and fitness. Our relationship started in a fitness studio and evolved to the kitchen as business partners. Amanda brings her background in personal training and wellness coaching and Willy her background as a chef and caterer. We try to implement both of our backgrounds into our business model and the food we create for our clients.
What do you feel differentiates you from others in your field?
We aren’t a diet, we are a sustainable, healthy lifestyle program. Using local ingredients, we create gourmet meals fueled with all of the nutrients your body and brain need to thrive. Restaurant quality food, delivered to your doorstep.
What is your favorite part of your job?
Our favorite part of our job is the reward we get when we hear about how our food is positively impacting our clients lives. We also love the creativity that goes into meal planning and recipe testing every week.
What is your favorite secret NYC spot?
The Brooklyn Kitchen is one of our favorite go-tos to unique, specialty ingredients. It has everything from kitchen equipment to spices to our favorite coconut yogurt. You can’t leave empty handed.
How do you benefit mamas?
We are every mama’s ultimate time saver when it comes to putting food on the table. Moms spend countless hours every week planning, shopping and cooking so their families can enjoy well-balanced meals. MKT gives that time back to moms, so they can spend more time with their kids, doing the things that count (or fitting in that work out).
What is the most memorable feedback a client has given you?
We love all of the feedback we get from our clients. One of favorites quotes from a client is “This vegan eggnog is orgasmic.” We are always striving to push the envelope on flavor.
