How many years have you been in business in NYC?
35.
How did you get your start and what was your initial inspiration?
I started my practice in Manhattan after dental school at the University of Pennsylvania and a dental residency at Mt. Sinai Hospital. Growing up, I was treated by a dentist with poor skills and a very heavy hand. I was motivated to become a dentist who is caring and sensitive to his patients’ needs, while practicing the highest quality dentistry with the most up to date techniques.
What do you feel differentiates you from others in your field?
My office is a multi-specialty practice, a place where all aspects of dentistry are performed by various specialists. We practice proven techniques that are the latest in dentistry in a comfortable and spa like setting.
What do you feel gives you longevity in this big city with so many options?
It is common these days for medical offices to treat you like a number. Almost like cattle. At our office, we try to treat everyone with respect and make them feel special. In addition, the quality of our dentistry, our beautiful and comfortable office, and our warm and caring staff help set us apart from the rest.
How do you positively impact your clientele?
We can make our patients feel better about themselves by improving their smiles with beautiful, natural looking, and healthy cosmetic dentistry. We do this with such procedures as Invisalign and Kor, Kor being the most effective professional grade whitening system on the market.
What is your favorite part of your job?
The close interaction with my patients and the ability to improve their lives.
What is your favorite secret NYC spot?
Skating rink at The Standard Hotel in the Meatpacking District.
How do you benefit mamas?
An amazing experience while getting your teeth cleaned or a pick me up whitening procedure can make the most harried and busy mama feel relaxed, young, and refreshed.
What is the most memorable feedback a client has given you?
A patient credited me with finding her perfect husband because, as she said, “her new smile changed her life by boosting her confidence.”
Pay it forward and name your top colleagues in the same field or related field:
Dr. David Hirsch is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon who was recently named as a superdoctor on the New York Times magazine list.
What is the best advice anyone's ever given you? Or what is your "mantra" / words to live by?
Your reputation is everything.
