How many years have you been in business in NYC?
Four years
How did you get your start and what was your initial inspiration?
I had worked in the art world in the curatorial department of multiple museums and galleries. While I realized at 24, the art world was not my calling, I did realize that curating young talent was something I really loved to do. I also felt that the retail landscape in New york was lacking discovery and experience – so I jumped into this business head first thinking, if you can find something that New York is lacking, you should do it first and fast….or else someone will come along and probably get it done before you.
What do you feel differentiates you from others in your field?
I think our authenticity and dedication to uniqueness is something that keeps our customer loyal and that gives us a good reputation. We are always here to create an amazing and one-of-a-kind experience when within the store and that I think sets us apart.
What do you feel gives you longevity in this big city with so many options?
I think you must adapt and always be challenging the norms, whether that be on the small scale of just how we buy product to customer experience. Moreover, I think one has to be digitally and technologically on the forefront of your field in order to give customers the greatest experience.
How do you positively impact your clientele?
I think there is a lot of power in clothing and fashion. The emotional strength someone can get when they “feel good” is indescribable.
What is your favorite part of your job?
That every day is different and the interesting people I am able to meet along the way.
What is your favorite secret NYC spot?
The library and spa at the Greenwich Hotel
How do you benefit mamas?
We are able to dress ANY woman, any age, any shape.
What is the most memorable feedback a client has given you?
Style is not about age – its about mindset and a way of life.
